Gramps served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was stationed on Guam as the war came to an end. These small sketchbooks provide an intimate glimpse of his unique war experience. He served his country as called upon, and had no delusions as he put his service in perspective. Throughout his life friends who shared his war experience asked about these sketchbooks. Over the decades, they have become more special.
