BEACH SCENES

Beaches on the Florida panhandle are a short drive from New Orleans. Gramps got there with family just about every year for vacations allowing lots of time to paint. Of his hundreds of beach scenes, the most fun for us are the sheets that record what we are up to on vacation. Below, you can compare accommodations in the 1950s, before these beaches were bult up for tourists, with accommodations during his final trips in his early 90s, over fifty years later.
